Summary
The intimidating and alluring tower nestled in the depths of the Vorn District. House Vorn's endless orgies and countless tortures are performed within its walls. Mercian Vetch, Vorn's citygod, is contained within the uppermost levels of the citadel.
Services
The basement levels of the citadel contain the pens for House fodder. Fodder is a term for any "lucky" citizen snatched up to participate in House Vorn rites, parties, or other events. Whether this experience ends up being one of pleasure or pain, and the degree of each, lies greatly up to chance.
The surface level entry and lower levels above it contain House Vorn's orgy chambers and banquet hall. The orgy chambers are predictably filled with those engaging in rampant sexual indulgence, swapping sexual acts as often as partners in the pursuit of the experience of the pleasure of flesh. Additionally these levels contain several banquet halls with their own offerings of indulgence. The experience of flesh includes all the senses and there is no shortage of beautiful music and stimulating aromas from incense and perfumes to accompany the cuisine. It's not unheard of for banquets of food to give way to cannibalistic tendencies as desire and excitement overtake what little restraint most Vornites have.
The middle levels of the citadel are filled with rooms dedicated to various methods of torture. Vorn mages pursuing the depths of pain spend great deals of time amid these rooms eagerly inflicting and willingly suffering sensations most would prefer to avoid.
The uppermost floors of the tower contain both the ballroom and the flesh theater. The ballroom is where House Vorn holds extravagant and excessive parties with music and dancing for all House members to enjoy. The dancing itself is perhaps relatively tame for one most expect of any gathering of Vorn mages, but suffice to say many revelers depart the ballroom to partake of the amenities elsewhere in the citadel as the party rages on.
The flesh theater is a grotesque stage where often gruesome plays and shows are put on. The shows are generally planned well ahead of time and much anticipated by House members. All action in these performances is entirely real and results in several deaths by the end of most shows. There are also periodic displays of extreme and complex acts of BDSM for House members to behold.
Atmosphere
The citadel's interior is constantly beset by all manner of moans and groans, screams and cries, and squelches and splatters. One must be discerning indeed to determine the particular nature of any of these given the proclivities of Vornites. Sex and torture occur casually and frequently throughout the citadel but the more showy and elaborate instances are kept to the theaters for a proper spectacle. It would be easy to mistake everything that happens within the citadel as mere mindless indulgence but one must always remember that pleasure and pain are the ritual and rite alike for House Vorn.
