What is a Noddule?

A Noddule is an OOC-only concept that is a collection of some sort of media or mixed media specifically created to explore or expand on a concept of Nodd.

An example would be the "Darkling Row Noddule," which included a VRChat-based 3d environment to roam around in, several interactive written stories to explore, collectibles for one's OOC ego file, several concepts and locations, a named character, and more.

Each Noddule will tend to vary in scope and composition and is simply a way of organizing content. A Noddule could just as easily be a series of comics and a short story, a small game, 2d/3d assets, or any combination of those and more depending on the creative whims of the project's creator.

Current Noddules

Noddules will be announced and released via the usual channels for keeping tabs on the City of Nodd project as a whole, links to which can be found on the main site. Teasers for upcoming Noddules and other things being worked on or experimented with are available to those who support the project via SubscribeStar.

Induction

The Induction Noddule can be considered a proper in-character "introduction" to the concepts of the world as an outsider might experience them coming into the world and the city proper.

Darkling Row

This Noddule roughly follows the Induction one as a newcomer stumbling into the streets of the Darkling Row, a location many outsiders first find themselves.

Outside Inn

The Outside Inn Noddule can be considered supplemental/adjacent to the Darkling Row Noddule, as the Inn is a prominent location in Darkling Row.

HearthHunt

This Noddule explores one of Nodd's yearly events, HearthHunt, in the form of an interactive point-and-click-esque adventure to salvage exciting or valuable collectibles from a doomed house.

Cirque du Sadique

This Noddule explores another of Nodd's recurring events, namely the Cirque du Sadique, a carnival-like attraction of gore and sensation in the extreme put on by House Vorn's very own Mordecai Baalkor.

Viviria District

This Noddule explores the Viviria District, a location in Nodd surrounding the House Viviria citadel. The streets of the district are positively smothered in life of all kinds and it is here one can get a taste for the duality of growth.
