Notable Individuals

Members of this cult sacrifice their identity for the cult itself.

Magic

It is said that the specialized cocktail of spells also contains an element of mind control that temporarily strips the recipient of its sense of identity. Due to the cult's anonymous nature, it does not require strict allegiance. It is suspected that many are only active in the cult part-time, and outside of it maintain their usual identity - once within the cult's walls, however, anyone could be anyone. No questions of this nature are asked, at least while in uniform.

New members are inducted by means of a baptism of sorts in The Ichor, which then remains with them anytime they walk the lairs of the Nameless. Some believe The Ichor to somehow sustain itself via suppressing the identities of the individuals or through their motions, making for something of a symbiotic relationship.

Still others instead suggest that The Ichor partakes of the individuality of members in the same way they partake of its ability to suppress identity. While cult members masquerade as nameless entities, free of their ego identity, The Ichor rides their bodies around - apart from itself in a way that allows it to experience novel and profound separation.

Aesthetic

Each calls themselves Nameless, and all members wear some variation of the same black rubber uniform - this is not simply a physical costume, but a transformation that is applied upon entry to the cult's headquarters, and removed upon exit. Distinguishing features are minimal, and only each member's vague body shape can be seen - no colors, markings, or identifying details remain.

Lair

The Nameless lair is probably in one, or several, locations and known to those who frequent their halls.

History

The Cult of the Nameless was founded presumably sometime after the rumored experiment that created The Ichor, if such a thing was truly created at all.
