Summary
The intimidating and alluring tower nestled in the depths of the Vorn District. House Vorn's various indulgences are performed within its walls. Mercian Vetch, Vorn's citygod, is contained within the uppermost levels of the citadel.
Services
The basement levels of the citadel contain the pens for House fodder. Fodder is a term for any citizen snatched up to participate in House Vorn rites, parties, or other events. Whether this experience ends up being being pleasurable or painful is up to chance.
The surface level entry and lower levels above it contain House Vorn's orgy chambers and banquet hall. In the orgy chambers, participants indulge freely in sexual activities of various kinds. The Banquet Hall is inundated with beautiful music and stimulating aromas from incense and perfumes to accompany the cuisine. On occasion, banquets of food may lead to cannibalistic tendencies as the atmosphere overpowers the restraint of its participants.
The middle levels of the citadel are filled with various torture chambers. Vorn mages pursuing the depths of pain utilize these rooms both inflicting and willingly suffering sensations most would prefer to avoid.
The uppermost floors of the tower contain both the ballroom and the flesh theater. I the ballroom, House Vorn holds extravagant and excessive parties with music and dancing for all House members to enjoy. The dancing itself is relatively tame for what might be expected of gathering of Vorn mages, but as the party continues, many revelers depart the ballroom to make use of the other amenities within the citadel.
The flesh theater is a grotesque stage where often gruesome plays and shows are put on. The shows are generally planned well ahead of time and much anticipated by House members. All action in these performances is entirely real and results in several deaths over the course of most shows. Outside of these shows, there are also periodic displays of extreme and complex acts of BDSM for House members to behold.
Atmosphere
Moans, cries and squelches are constantly echoing through the halls of the citadel's interior. Given the varied preferences of Vornites, it can be difficult to discern whether any particular sound is one of pleasure or pain. Sex and torture alike are casual and frequent occurences, but more intricate and elaborate displays are left to the theater rooms to ensure proper due is given to the spectacle. While to an outside viewer it could be easy to dismiss all of this as simple mindless indulgence, for members of House Vorn, pain and pleasure often take on a more ritualistic form.
