Pressurized Container

A pressurized container, treated to hold Gloam. Cartridges range between a number of standardized "denominations" indicating their size. While transferring one's gloam balance from one citizen to another does not require a cartridge, gloam cartridges are the standard method for powering devices inside or outside, ranging from artifacts to wands. A Mage Kiosk can be used to obtain a gloam cartridge, with the payment of the total gloam in the cartridge and a small fee for the cartridge itself. While there is a reimbursment for turning in a spent cartridge, savvy scavengers will find plenty abandoned in the streets.

-Cartridges are not necessary for transferring gloam balance but are needed for devices which need to draw from a source of gloam, i.e. homes, wands, many artifacts, and so forth. Withdrawing gloam from one's balance into a cartridge at a kiosk results in the appropriate deduction to one's balance plus a small fee for the cartridge. Spent cartridges can often be exchanged at a mage kiosk when getting a new one for a discount on fees - but most are discarded in the streets.
