Summary
New Altar is a township nestled somewhere among the Godspine Peaks. The Cult of Quelsh has their headquarters here and, as such, a greater presence than in the city itself. Though many know that New Altar is hidden somewhere among the Godspine it is not commonly known precisely where and the peaks are dangerous to traverse, providing New Altar some small sense of security.
Services
Most of the occupants are Quelsh cult members or allies. As such the township tends to be cleaner and more peaceful than Nodd but is the target of frequent attacks and harassment as a result.
The glow of New Altar can sometimes be seen ever so faintly at night from the city, though it provides little help in actually finding one's way to New Altar due to the treacherous terrain. Citizens of the city will sometimes find a high vantage point and gaze out to the light of New Altar at night, wondering if their choice to live in the city's walls was the correct one.
