Chimerae refer to any number of citizens who do not have dominant enough traits to identify them squarely as any particular species or hybridization of species.

Physiology

Due to the almost endless nature of variability between chimerae almost nothing can be said of certain about them as a whole, other than that they exist; most of them, at least. Though extremely rare it was discovered once outsiders began to arrive in Nodd that some handful of chimerae vaguely resembled the newcomers.

When enough chimerae bearing a certain sets of identifiable traits spawn and are noticed they can sometimes be given a new species name and the nature of their spawning is often attempted to be discerned soon after, if not already known.

Stereotypes

Chimerae are as varied in behavior as in every other facet.
