His goal, therefore, was to become not merely bigger, but to be the biggest citizen in Nodd. To this end, Uggrid researched spells that would allow him to transfer the size of others to himself, soon discovering that consuming another in a ritualistic manner would allow him to steal size from them, permanently making the citizen he consumes smaller. Even after resurrection, his prey would come back missing some of their size.
