Pressurized Container
|
A specialized container used to hold gloam, which range between a number of standardized "denominations" indicating their size - cartridges tend to refer to smaller, hand-held containers whereas tanks refer to larger sizes.
The container keeps the gloam in a liquid form, safe from combustion. They're nearly impossible to break, and they're designed to slot into certain artifacts to power them.
While transferring one's gloam balance from one citizen to another does not require a cartridge, gloam containers are the standard method for powering devices inside or outside, ranging from home appliances to weapons. A mage kiosk can be used to obtain a gloam cartridge, with the payment of the total gloam in the cartridge alongside a small fee for the cartridge itself. While there is a reimbursement for turning in a spent cartridge, savvy scavengers will find plenty abandoned in the streets.
