In these times Illa was widely considered the most powerful mage in Nodd. As a result it was she the Council called upon when a corrupted mephitoad began to devastate much of the city after an experiment. She agreed and lead her follows into battle to stop the Mothertoad; to succeed, however, she had to underwent corruption. After the battle she was given a place on the Council, as promised, as the Citygod of House Umbrasia.
