|backstory=Long ago in the city's history magic was not as prevalent or accessible as in later times. Many citizens were still able to produce magical effects but capable mages were far more rare. In these times Illa was widely considered the most powerful mage in Nodd. As a result it was she the Council called upon when a corrupted mephitoad began to devestate much of the city. She agreed and lead her follows into battle to stop the Mothertoad; to succeed, however, she had to undergo corruption. After the battle she was given a place on the Council, as promised, as the citygod of House Umbrasia.
