Backstory

Flisk's early life was expected for a Noddish citizen. She joined House Omnillian and proved herself a capable mage, well-regarded by her peers. Her involvement with larger projects grew over time, and Flisk sought to use her capability and position to meaningfully improve the City at large. Despite her good intentions, many of the inventions she created were not used in ways she desired. Most notably, an invention she personally headed the creation of: the spook.

Disillusioned with House Omnillian and weary of the City, Flisk abandoned her position, unable to tolerate the increasingly harmful tasks her inventions were being made to perform. Unwilling to give up on her ideals, Flisk left the City to found the Cult of Quelsh. As the Cult grew, the township of New Altar was formed around it.
