The snodwillow is a tree that entangles and digests prey in dangling tentacles.
Physiology
The snodwillow consists of a gnarled, bluish trunk leading to several long purple tendrils. These tendrils are covered with a sticky, corrosive sap that is used to digest prey. These entangle the victim and slowly break them down into a slurry that's drawn back into the trunk of the plant.
Habitat
Snodwillows are primarily found in swamps and dense forests where they may be indistinguishable from other trees - until it's too late.
