Due to the number of pawns and their hands-on nature with enforcement they tend to be more rowdy and are prone to hazing and singling out other, newly inducted pawns. While small groups of pawns that work in nearby areas might become comfortable with one another or form uneasy truces many are as unpleasant to one another as they are to other citizens.

The uniforms given to pawns are usually enchanted with protective magics, especially those working in parts of the city that would demand such more readily. Pawns as individuals do their duties autonomously but still answer to and are overseen by Council Knights. This means that even a pawn cannot be entirely careless in who they harass in case the individual in question has especially high standing or impressive connections.
