Torturous Artifact

A torture tube is an artifact used for producing gloam. It consists of a clear tube into which a citizen is imprisoned, and then tortured by means of assorted attachments. The entire device is generally worn on the back or displayed outside one's home, where passers-by can contribute to the gloam production by means of attention.
