Summary
The smulgus is the familiar of the Cult of Byle. The ritual for their creation involves defiling something sacred with one's own bodily waste constituted from a digested victim. The bones often rearrange themselves into a new shape that does not necessarily resemble the corpse's original anatomy.
Physiology
Smulgus' body is comprised entirely of only fecal matter and bones. Even their bodily fluids are various consistencies of excrement.
Habitat
The Byle cult's headquarters and wherever their masters may roam.
Reproduction
While a smulgus cannot reproduce through sexual means they can devour a victim and if, after digestion, the remains are expelled onto something sacred they will then animate into a new smulgus.
Behavior
Despite their somewhat grotesque nature smulgus' are surprisingly loyal, playful, and make great lifelong companions.
Diet
The diet of a smolgus consists only of excrement except in the case of a victim suitable for the creation of a new smolgus.
