This spell conjures forth a beast from the relative vicinity. The caster may attempt to bias the type of beast, but it will generally need to be somewhere in the relative area, though not necessarily seen or absolutely known to be there. The beast is not compelled to obey the caster in any way and is actually transported from another location to the caster's. As a result this spell's uses are somewhat limited and unpredictable both.
