As dangerous as Nodd tends to be, it's common for individuals with the strength and will to fight to offer their services to others for a fee. Many well-to-do citizens will have a cadre of mercenaries to act as bodyguards, security for their abode, or even simply just to impress or intimidate others with an entourage.
