Vultures are those who scavenge the corpses of citizens for belongings or body parts. As frequently as danger lurks within the city there is rarely a time when the pickings are slim. Vultures need to be able to defend themselves, however, both from other vultures as well as whatever threat laid low their prize in the first place.
A successful vulture will go on to sell items, pelts, and body parts as applicable to various other citizens of the city. The term vulturewear stems from this practice and it isn't uncommon for especially famous or remarkable corpses to fetch especially high prices. The arrival of outsiders in Nodd spurred an entire revolution in some aspects of Nodd's fashion because of this.
