The city at the surface level is in the shape of a circle, and the majority is defined by six wedge-shaped districts. Each district is associated with one of the six arcane Houses, and the districts are named as such.

At the heart of each House district lies the respective House's citadel, as well as the greatest concentration of relevant shops and attractions. Each of these districts begins at the outer perimeter of the city, and they converge towards the city's center, forming the Council District which surrounds the Council Spire. The outermost ring of the city, including the gates, is referred to as unaffiliated.

Hovering above the city are a series of floating isles that contain Nodd's two upper tiers. The lower of the two is a ring of floating islands known as the Canopy, with the Crown resting just above that. The higher one goes the more exclusive the access, with celebrities almost exclusively occupying the Crown.

In the other direction, beneath Nodd's street level, is the Underbelly. The Underbelly is comprised of four subterranean tiers. While this portion of the city is often thought of as dirtier and more dangerous than the surface, this isn't necessarily true.
