The sludgewort is a strange plant that has developed a somewhat unique method to extract nutrients from other creatures that sometimes creates a mutually beneficial relationship.
Physiology
The sludgewort looks like a massive flower of sorts which lures creatures into the large, grasping petals of its upper portion. Once there the victim is engulfed as the plant force-feeds them a thick slurry of nutrients which have a strong laxative effect that causes near a near immediate need to relieve oneself. The plant's lower portion is perfectly positioned to receive the victim's excrement as a means to fertilize and sustain itself.

Habitat
The sludgewort grows almost exclusively in swamps but has also been known to creep its way into sewers and water outlets from time to time.
