Summary
The museling is a strange, catlike creature with a mirror for its head. The entire body of a museling is metallic and gold in color, leading them to be relatively heavy for their lithe proportions.
Physiology
Muselings have a metal body that crests into a lined mirror for a head. Despite their lack of evident sensory organs muselings are perfectly capable of perceiving sight, sound, and smell as normal. When gazing into the mirrored face of a museling one sees what they want to see; this tends to be a more beautiful or complete version of themselves and their surroundings.
Habitat
Muselings are magical constructs and thus primarily stalk the halls of the cult's headquarters.
Reproduction
A museling's body is carefully crafted before the animation process though not necessarily by the individual seeking a familiar. Cult members stare into the museling's mirrored face in focused meditation and only if they see their own beauty does the museling animate. For some this happens almost instantly whereas others may take several turns.
Behavior
Muselings follows their owners around and lounge nearby, taking particular interest in any creative affairs.
Diet
A museling is sustained by the creative efforts of their owner - too long out of sight or with a master who loses their own sense of beauty may cause a museling to return to its inanimate state.
Common Uses
Muselings are the well known familiar of the Cult of Amyrnum, their delicate, sleek appearance adding to the cult's ostentatious appearance.
