This spell transforms the target into a piece of furniture or other fixture of the caster’s choosing. More often than not the resultant furniture piece retains several prominent features of the individual's original body, though to what degree depends on the caster. Usually the target's limbs, facial features, or even entire head remain somewhat intact, even if immobile, to be sure that onlookers are keenly aware of their predicament. Being transformed as such does not usually cause the target to expire and thus makes this spell an excellent choice for keeping an adversary helpess and within arm's reach - along with any refreshing beverages set atop them.
