Summary
The Reticulum is the second subterranean district beneath the surface level of the city and is slightly smaller than The Rumen above. The Reticulum has a greater focus on commercial services as well as a significant presence of gambling which is most prominent in the Grotto Casino. The edges of the district eventually give way to caves, both natural and otherwise, most of which eventually end.
Services
This district has its own offering of housing that's even cheaper still than the already affordable abodes in The Rumen. Many shops in The Reticulum use or incorporate fungus in their goods or offerings due to the expansive fungal grotto that stretches through caves in and around The Reticulum. One of the most prominent attractions the district has to offer is the Grotto Casino which draws citizens from all parts of the city to the lower levels to try their luck.
Atmosphere
The Reticulum tends to be a rather rowdy part of the city due to the prevalence of gambling and related indulgences. The air is thick and hazy due to the prevalence of fungus throughout the district so much so that give off a diffuse, bleary glow.
