Sporefall refers to a season in Nodd during which architecture gives off spores. These spores give way to new structures in Nodd, and have aphrodisiac and euphoria-inducing properties when inhaled or otherwise consumed.
Despite the number of spores released coating much of the city in a pink dust during this event only those which fall precisely where they need to will fruit and ultimately become a building proper. Spores are collected by individuals attempting to manually plant a new building but it is extremely rare that this is successful.
Still more of the excess of spores are gathered up by enterprising citizens to create drugs and seasonal confections, or simply for personal use.
