Summary

Scryer's Loch is a sizable body of water nestled beneath a rocky outcrop, which lies northwest of the City just beyond the Grotmire. The loch is almost perpetually shrouded in mist, and it is believed that when one looks into the surface of the lake, they may catch a glimpse of the future. Scryer's Reach, an outcrop that overlooks the lake, is thought to amplify this effect.

While many wayward citizens come to the loch to catch glimpses of their future, others come for the natural beauty of the loch and it's surroundings - something which is sorely lacking in the City proper. Many visitors to the loch partake in a variety of recreational activities. Swimmers are advised to remain wary - though the surface of the waters may look calm, they run deep and hold no shortage of dangerous predators seeking to claim an easy meal.

Services

Business-minded citizens offer boat rentals and guided tours of the loch. There are also stalls for food and refreshments, among other things. Like many things in Nodd, there is no guarantee of guest safety, even on a guided tour.
