Summary
Flegmyre is a district in The Canopy whose residents seek to escape the city's darkness without upsetting the council. There is a certain irony, however, as being wealthy or influential enough to secure a life in the Canopy requires no small amount of participation in Nodd's chaos. Most residents simply fought as hard as they could until they resigned to the will of the city and chose instead to avoid it as much as possible, resigning to a reserved life holed up in this district thanks to their wealth.
Services
Most of the establishments in this district focus on small comforts to occupy the mind or body. Bath houses, massage, tea houses, and other quieter spaces are found in this district.
Atmosphere
The air about Flegmyre is one of resigned submission, citizens going about a daily life with little interest in it wishing only to avoid the darkness of Nodd as long as they continue to live.
