Summary
The Canopy is one of the more affluent parts of the city. Many citizens who are well off, connected, or otherwise powerful will make their home here and, as such, many of the more exclusive shops and establishments are on these tiers.
Environment
By no means "safe" or even less dangerous than some others it is still generally more well kempt and guarded. Most guards are hired or mercenaries, however, and this may not afford any protection to someone who hasn't hired their own. Affluence also begets a higher class, more dangerous level of criminals and villainy which can be far more dangerous or powerful than those who frequent the street level of the city.
