The Abyss
The Abyss begins at the furthest edges of the Doldrums where light simply drops off into complete darkness. Some have spoken of creatures that roam the edge of the Abyss, briefly foraying into the Doldrums to seek out prey or victims, but verbal accounts have failed to paint any consistent concepts of these creatures. Several attempts to use Voyeur Glasses to explore the Abyss have failed, the glasses simply failing to operate once close enough to the Abyss.
Most citizens believe the Abyss to be essentially empty, devoid of anything. Those citizens would be right.
