Summary

The Scrapyard is where almost all the inorganic garbage in the city ends up. Most of what arrives has already been picked over for valuable or worthwhile items but there's always the chance for something to slip by the Council Sweeps and vultures both. It takes up a good deal of space among the caverns of The Omasum with ever shifting piles of garbage and refuse waiting to be picked through and dumped below.

Services

The Scrapyard is open to all citizens to freely scrounge with no restriction on what may be removed or taken. Every trisk or so the floor in several parts of the yard opens up and allows most of the garbage to be dumped into grinders below. The grinders render the yard's contents into smaller, more uniform sized chunks to eventually be rendered further on the lowest levels of the city.

Atmosphere

The Scrapyard is nothing but numerous piles of garbage from the city above and, as such, is about as pleasant as one might expect. Which is to say "not very."
