Summary

Darkling Row is a name given to the outermost ring of the city. All the city gates are positioned along its perimeter, and as such it is seen as a place where newly-inducted outsiders get their first taste of Nodd.

Services

All manner of vendors can be found here, and many of their wares and services are aimed at newcomers as they venture into the city. While some may be legitimately interested in aiding outsiders, many seek only to take advantage.

Atmosphere

While Darkling Row is seen as a place for newcomers, it isn't necessarily safe. Even insiders without proper business here may spend time in the area just for the ease of making gloam by harassing fresh inductees.

That said, this also means the area is more closely watched by heroes and others who seek to protect and aid those in need. Of particular note is the Outside Inn, which was established as place of rest and safety for new outsiders.
